I’m looking at ways to make my store profile more transparent for customers. I have a spotlight post written about me on Blogger that shares my design history and creative journey. I’d like to add that link to my Zazzle store so buyers can see the background behind my work.
For me, transparency builds trust. Customers aren’t just buying a product they’re connecting with the person who created it. By sharing my journey, I hope to show that my designs come from experience, teaching, and a clear creative process.
Has anyone here added a personal spotlight or blog link to their store profile? Would you recommend putting it in the “Website” field or in the “About Me” section? (the link would not be clickable and customer would have to do a copy paste)
Thanks for any advice I want to make sure customers can learn more about me in a way that feels professional and trustworthy.
store page with the about or page where there is a place for social media? I can see from my one blog (PoD blog) that there is traffic coming from Zazzle …I do not share my blog at Z community, only a few times…so I just assumed had to be coming from the social media hyperlinks. And I think some customers do read the about…I had a follower on pinterest reach out and ask me how my husband was…they read I was a full-time caregiver at Zazzle..come to find out she had same condition as my husband…and I thought small world…but a connection to a customer and that made my Z about worth it.
How lengthy is the Blog article? Could you retype it as your About section on the Zazzle Shop page? And I agree, most buyers hit the Zazzle Marketplace and only visit a Shop via links that bring them there from our SEO. I doubt that the man-on-the-street buyer even realizes that there ARE Shops without coming across one of our own published links.
I just happened to see this, and didn’t see an answer, but here’s what I think anyway. You know if you go to your settings, there’s a setting on there for social. Click there to add all your social media links. If it’s blogger, put your link in the rss feed one.
