If you’re asking for honest feedback, I hope you don’t mind me being straightforward:
The whole “cute” aesthetic really isn’t for me; I’m just too old for that style. I’d be much more drawn to a genuinely eerie, atmospheric, and mature Gothic theme. Right now, the designs have a very strong AI look to them, which personally doesn’t appeal to me.
Just a small thought from one creator to another: I personally love getting raw, honest critique on my stuff—the good and the bad. It makes me curious, though: What kind of feedback are you hoping for here? Is it a genuine design discussion, or just a way to share your shop link? As a community of fellow artists, we’re probably not your buyers, but many of us are always happy to give real, constructive design feedback if that’s what you’re after!
I like both, and really like how you did the heading text.. how you staggered the orange and black color. If I were a customer it would be hard to choose just one.. of course they could buy 15 of one and 15 of another.. for their Halloween party.
@doggenhaus, the poster asked which of the two design styles that she shared do you like best? She did not ask for a critique of her design skills or a discussion about the manner in which she creates her design. Feedback based on the exact questions she asked is welcome, other feedback is not.
I agree with you, Jill. Kind, helpful feedback is great, but when it turns negative or goes off‑topic, it doesn’t really serve the creator who asked the question. She put a lot of work into her design, and sometimes if something isn’t your style, it’s just better to scroll past. No need to make someone feel bad.
Thank you so much for stepping in! I really appreciate it. I was just curious which style people prefer, and it’s always nice to hear different opinions.
