Which Pages Can I Link To With Zazzle Associate IDs?

I’ve had a quick look around the forum to see if this question has come up before (I’m sure it must have done). But I couldn’t find anything.

Can I link from offsite to a search results page on Zazzle using my Associate ID and get commissions? Or link to a Zazzle product category - eg Business Cards in general?

For example: ww.zazzle.com/s/business+cards?rf=My_Associate_ID

(I broke the link deliberately, so as not to create a junk link)

OR - can we only link to Stores and individual Products with our Associate ID?

Thanks in advance!

How It Works

The ‘Share’ option on Zazzle is a simple yet powerful tool for promoting your products. Whether you’ve just created a new item in your Zazzle Store or stumbled upon an interesting product while browsing, sharing it is a breeze.

Thanks Idraw. I had seen the second link you posted, but the first one offers the solution. I didn’t know about the ‘cg’ url parameter (for category). That’ll be useful in future!!

Thanks again.

You can add the ?rf=My_Associate_ID to the end of any Zazzle link, so you can refer people to shops, collections, categories, search results … The point is if your link (to what doesn’t really matter) brings them to the Z domain and they buy something, then you get the credit.

Important note to be aware of: this is a “URL parameter” and there can be multiple ones appended to a URL. The ? signals the first parameter in the string. After that, all other parameters begin with a &.
So, in a link such as this one

https://www.zazzle.com/store/colscreations/products?cg=196683041748316366

you would need to append &rf=My_Associate_ID

https://www.zazzle.com/store/colscreations/products?cg=196683041748316366&rf=My_Associate_ID

So always mind your ? and &'s. If the link you’re copying already has a ? in it, use the & when adding your RF ID.

P.S. Sorry about all the extra line spacing, I tried to make it go away but the more I tried the more extra space it adds.

I use ascend/pepperjam for these as it’s so easy. There’s a little thingy one adds to the bookmark bar and when you want to grab anything from Zazzle with affiliate link you just tap that little thingy and it creates the link.

You’ve mentioned Ascend/Pepperjam before, as I recall mostly in the Tech forum in relation to links or images not working right on your blog/website or something like that. But the context of why you mentioned Ascend/Pepperjam before isn’t really important. The thing is, when I first saw you mentioning it, I googled it and still couldn’t make heads or tails out of what Pepperjam actually is or does so filed it away under “things to forget about” . But fast forward to my recent test of Rakuten’s effect on Zazzle referral earnings (see results here) and Pepperjam comes up again, in the URL parameters added after clicking the Rakuten button (see screenshot in above mentioned post.)

Could you maybe explain in layman’s terms what Pepperjam is/does in relation to using it for Zazzle?

Zazzle used to have their affiliate program with shareasale and they switched it to Pepperjam …now known as Ascend.

Thank you @ColsCreations  very helpful information I was looking for  :slightly_smiling_face:
