Which website is easiest to connect Zazzle Products?

Layman at website build.  Want to create the professional appearance of my business by connecting Zazzle links to another websites platform.

That does not take a long time.  That is easy to do.  That is affordable.

Wix?

Square?

Go Daddy?

Wordpress? - best for those that know what they are doing?

I don’t know that ‘any’ are easiest specifically for Zazzle?

I have three different platforms on the go presently

  • Wix websites premium version
  • Free Blogger sites
  • Vistaprint websites

They all allow the addition of html code.

The advantages differ re other aspects weighed up against whatever the charges are.

I am currently working on this website ( you can see some Zazzle items added)

What is it you’re hoping to do?

Not quite understanding of all that you shared.

Wix offers a free website?

I want to advertise who and what I am foremost and professionally through a website.  Then when someone is interested in an item/product they are redirected to the zazzle website.

In the future things may change.  I may be up and running on other print on demand sites.  I may be printing my own products and mailing.  New to this, so not sure which way may be the best way to go.

So, I am looking for an easy to build, inexpensive way to guide people to who and what I am and redirect them for now, to my Zazzle products.

From the sound of it, you’re just looking to be able to easily link to your Zazzle products or Zazzle store, and I think any website option would make this pretty easy to do. It’s just a matter of copying and pasting the link text. These days just about every website option uses some form of templates so they’re pretty easy to use. I’ve never used Wix or Squarespace, but I know they are popular and actually pretty easy to use. GoDaddy is really just a hosting service and a place to buy domain names the www.yourwebsite.com bit, but I guess they do offer a website builder that I think uses Wordpress. From my experience GoDaddy can be pricey and I had some issues with their hosting service. I think Wix and Squarespace have an all inclusive thing where you don’t have to pay for separate hosting. I personally use Wordpress for my websites with templates from Elegant Themes and use SiteGround for my hosting. But if you’re hoping to start small and don’t want to invest a lot of money you might want to go with a free option. I’ve used Blogger by Google in the past and it’s easy to use and free.

This one is easy and free and would probably accomplish what you are looking for. https://sites.google.com/new

Blogger by Google is a website?  Or just a blogging platform to let people know who you are?  I want to set up a website like a store with the photo’s taking people right back to the zazzle site.

That link did not take me anywhere.  What is it?  Thank you

There’s also weebly, you can build a free site and if you like it you can upgrade to the paid version that allows you to use your own domain and has other e-commerce options such as selling digital downloads directly from your site

Well, each “blog” is it’s own website unlike, say,  a social media platform, and I have in the past used blogger sites more like a static website than a blog, but as someone else pointed out Google now has Sites which is specifically designed for static websites https://sites.google.com so that would definitely be a better free option.

You can set up a blogger blog to look just like a website.  There really is no difference if you pick the right template and do a little research to remove sidebars off pages and little things like that.  I have a free blogger site with a custom purchased template and a go daddy custom domain attached as well and I feel like it looks as good as any paid stand alone website platform where you can also add a blog.  Blogger has some newer simple templates that look really nice and clean and are easy to use.

I have a top menu bar, a separate blog section, multiple pages like a shopping link, gallery of my art,  customer photos, interesting varied image sizes on my homepage as well as my mailing list sign up.  I use a Nifty subscription (which you can see more about in the tools forum) to make product grids within my blog posts, but you could also use stand alone pages (which are as easy to add as a new blog post) to add your product grids and easily plug your products into your blogger “website” and make it look like a shop-able site.

You can take a look here if you are interested.  I use mine more as a hub for my art, videos, and products, but it might give you an idea of what is possible.  Any site is going to take some time to add product image and links.

This is an interesting idea.  What blogger blog do you use?  and I have intercept conversation about the “nifty tool” before.

Does this make it a much more economical approach than using a website platform like wix?

I am looking for low cost and ease.  I don’t really care about the blog.  Maybe more people follow blogs that I think, but in this fast past world a quick glance at websites, links and social media is all that I need.

Is there more than one blogger blog?

If you mean which Blogger template do I use, I use a custom template I purchased off of Etsy.  There are tons of options and different sellers that offer them from different price points and are really easy to install.  Just do a search for Blogger templates on Etsy.

If you just want to use one available on Blogger, I suggest one of the “Emporio” templates for a clean minimal look.  You will have to google how to add the top menu and remove the sidebars.  I used Georgia Lou Studios tutorials, but they shut their site down a couple of years ago so I don’t have anyone specific to refer you to anymore.  I did all of that with the first version of my blog with one of the existing Blogger templates.

As far as being more economical than a site such as Wix, I made the choice to use blogger because Wix and most sites like that require you to upgrade to the paid monthly version in order to forward a custom domain name and Blogger allows if for free so for me it was more economical.  There are probably a lot of limitations with using blogger, but it is what works for me.

This is a bit over my head right now.  Learning curve.  But you also said you had to add and subscribe to Nifty.  Isn’t that what links your site products to Zazzle?  Does that end up costing the same as using Wix?

I looked at Weebly.  Looks like they are a part of Square now.  Not sure what line you have to pass to then be charged.  I want a site that I can square off and create product pages that link back to Zazzle.  So still looking at the most economical way to do this while making my business look legit and professional.

If you buy a template off of Etsy the menus are at the top or under your header depending on what template you choose and things are much easier to set up.  You will get a nice front page set up, etc.  You just might have to look up how to take the side bar off of the pages so they don’t look like a blog page or some sellers offer a little bit of help with things like that.  You can find them for as little as maybe $7 and up.  I think I paid $15 for my template and then did some extra customization.

I don’t know that there is any easy way to add products to a website except manually adding the images and description text and then linking them back to Zazzle.  The time saved by using the Nifty grid can be well worth it.  I don’t know about the cost of other sites because I haven’t looked into them in a couple of years.

You can also use Nifty for free, but just know that half the products you share using it will have your referral ID and the other half with have his referral ID.  Referrals are kind of hard to catch anyway so its not a bad way to start learning the tool.

I too am having a similar issue. I am in the process of building a website using the WIX VIP Plan which is quite expensive. I have searched exhaustively to see how to integrate my Zazzle online store which I am also in the process of building as well into my WIX website. I can connect to my external website through the CONNECT ICON located in my ZAZZLE dashboard. However I still do NOT know how to link individual Zazzle store product pages to my WIX website. This is a topic I personally feel needs to be covered in more detail. Where does one copy and paste the code from Zazzle into a website like WIX? I would greatly appreciate any input or suggestions as well. Thanks in advance.

CreativeDesign you mentioned that you use WIX. How did you or the web designer get your pages to run so seamlessly through WIX.

I talked to Wix and they said that if I am connecting links then I only need their first pro plan.  The one that is generally at $22 per month.  Forgot the name.  Other people here have led me to wordpress which takes more set up time and knowledge.  I don’t have that time and knowledge.

Thanks ZAZKAT. What department did you speak to at WIX? I need to contact them.
