If I use a jpg image that has a white background (#FFFFFF) on a white t-shirt, will the jpg image blend into the t-shirt? Or will there be a discernible difference between the two? Hope that makes sense
There will be a difference because the white in your design will be printed onto the tee. It is best to remove the white or use a transparent version of the image.

Interesting, I will have to take a look. I almost never set my designs on the Classic Printing. The image is affected by the tee shirt color itself. Perhaps with classic printing the OP will be OK… But if the customer wants the design on vivid printing, what then…

Be careful with this option. It rarely gets all the white, especially if one uses any sort of fade in their design. Don’t get me wrong, I do use it from time to time, but I do zoom in really close to check its success, especially on really important design elements. Often, I pull that piece into my design software and remove the white myself…

Yes, that is noteworthy
Only if you use basic printing - if you use vibrant printing, white is used. If you want to avoid the possibility of having the white printed, you should limit your designs to classic printing only, though I wouldn’t suggest it. Vibrant printing looks much nicer, especially on shirts other than white, where the background color will bleed through (and replace anything that otherwise would be white). It’s worth taking the time and effort to remove white backgrounds from your artwork.
