Would someone be kind enough to do a tutorial on swashes and how to use them?
It would be appreciated!
Thanks in advance.

There is a very comprehensive one here that looks good

.
That is a very nice article. I guess what I don’t understand is how to use unicode. I’ll have to look it up.

Unicode is a beast that I’ve yet to implement successfully. I think only Vivendulies had a really good grasp of it.
Using this chart as an example,
Angela Script ligatures/glyphs - Zazzle
hit the Edit Design button and in the Zazzle design tool, find out which special character (ligature/glyph(s), etc.) you wish to use. Copy and paste to notepad (they will look like rectangular boxes). Paste the rectangular box(es) into the Zazzle design tool. The special character(s) should now look like they did in the chart.
Now if you want something with a much cleaner look to it, check out @Laura 's reply/chart to my post in Re: Handwritten/Script Fonts on Zazzle with ligatu… - Zazzle (note: full list of fonts on Zazzle with extended special character sets plus the charts can also be found there).

This makes two of us! I did a Google but am none the wiser. I shall ‘shelve’ that learning curve for now.
Try using my chart PC & Leah, as WH suggested; the instructions with the post hopefully explain what you need to do without any knowledge of unicode. Cheers!
So we just copy the squares? I have those squares on some of my Blooming Elegant headings, so the square is magically different somehow as it appears same for every letter? Thank you too for your time spent doing this.
yes. that is how Notepad renders the Unicode combinations (as squares).
only when you get to the Zazzle design tool and the preview mode do they appear as they should in the charts (even within the edit text function they appear as squares).

Wow. I guess I totally missed the other post. (https://community.zazzle.com/t5/share-your-tips-tricks/handwritten-script-fonts-on-zazzle-with-ligatures-glyphs/m-p/31527/highlight/true)
Reading that one and a few bits here I think I understand enough to be able to begin to play with these…
Thanks everyone for you help. And to those that have done so much work to make utilizing them … easy?.. lol. Hopefully. I’ll know better once I try this out, but it seems all the pieces are there. Cheers.

You’re welcome Leah
Yes, as @WHS_Designs explained.
