I couldn’t really tell you what’s going on, but something is happening. Maybe it’s all those visits coming from Singapore or China, I don’t know. What I do notice, though, when I look at my recent visits over the past few days, is that people are curiously viewing Christmas, Thanksgiving, Halloween designs… It’s strange. There are many items, yet sales are barely one a day, if I’m lucky…
I used to make around 300 sales a month. Little by little, things were growing, and then suddenly everything started to fade away. It’s clear that something happened. Other designers had already said the same in the past, all with a similar profile, Silver Badge and comparable earnings. None of us slowed our pace, but everything vanished anyway. So yes, something definitely changed and, for some reason, it harmed certain people in particular. Then came the biggest change, and here we are…
Now barely 30 sales a month, by the way…
Yeah, I’m noticing many views of out-of-season products. Or very old products of mine that haven’t been seen for quite awhile & have never sold. Or blocks of products – like a mother’s day design but every single product in that collection. Didn’t used to be that way for any of it. And my z rank has gone down 1. (bot views to sales ratio?) 2 days ago I had something like almost 20 pages of products viewed in 1 day (24x20). Again. I think this started beginning of Oct 2025. It let up a bit but now it’s back. I’m still selling but I had one of my worst Jan in years.
This is really screwed up.
You’d be surprised how many people working online put in those kinds of hours. When I was writing for eHow, (how to articles) it wasn’t unusual to publish 10 to 15 articles a day money was definitely the motivator back then. At the same time, I was also creating for Zazzle and blogging, so there was a ton of behind-the-scenes work: promoting, backlinking, and keeping everything connected. It was a lot, but that’s the reality for so many of us who’ve built our work from the ground up
And on your profile, what date does it say Latest Products Created? 🤔
… Have you been shown your debits for this month? 🙄
Have your sales moved or are they still standing? 🙄
It seems you match perfectly as an overall right vision about a store growing.
But unfortunatly your username CO 88 appearing on your store seems much mismatching, just looking at that from a basic point of view verification.
However, you look as a valued contributor too, good continuation…
That’s really nice. And what sold the most? 🙂
My sales are still fairly decent, but NOWHERE near what they were a couple of years ago. The drop has been significant - but I’m trying to stay grateful for what’s still coming in.
I’m curious how other designers are doing with new designs. I’ll see some initial views soon after posting, but after a while the traffic seems to plateau and gradually taper off. That said, I do have the majority of my royalties at 23.40% which I am sure makes me less visible.
My sales are off way off this month. I’m not sure if part of it is because I was offline for five weeks, but I’ve been back for about two weeks now and I’ve been working hard. I’ve listed new products, I’ve been backlinking to my blogs, and I’ve been promoting like I always do. But honestly, I’m not seeing a return. My linkovers have dropped from around 1,300 a day to about 500, so something is definitely off. And all I’m selling this month is birthday cards. I’m grateful for the sales, but it’s not enough to be significant, and I’m not seeing the duplicates and steady movement I had just a few months ago. It just feels like something has shifted, and I’m trying to figure out what’s going on
My royalties are at 20%, and during the holiday season it wasn’t an issue at all sales were strong and steady. January was still a good month for me, but February has been a completely different story. I’m starting to wonder if my products just aren’t as visible as they used to be. I’m still getting sales, but mostly birthday cards, and not in the duplicates or steady flow I was seeing just a few months ago. Something definitely shifted. I don’t know if it’s the time I was away, or the current page layout with so many other designers’ products above the fold and below, or something else entirely, but I’m seeing the same kind of tapering off you mentioned
How were/are you newer designs doing? All my sales are coming from past designs- the newer ones not so much. It makes me not want to put anymore time in creating new ones.
Right now, my sales are coming almost entirely from cards and stationery I created in 2024 and older products before that. nothing from 2025-2026. The newer products are getting views and likes, so people are seeing them, but they’re not converting into sales. When everything that sells is from past years, it does make you wonder what’s going on with visibility.
Thanks for mentioning that about designs from 2025 and newer are not selling, @sm_business_car and @susang6
I’ve been mentioning it a few times, but did not hear from others, so I thought I was the only one.
It’s beyond frustrating and also makes it crystal clear that Zazzle is incapable of following trends. I blame it on an outdated and broken search function, but other factors also play a role.
And business cards: yes, the sales are coming (only) from repeat customers.
Bringing in new sales is next to impossible with the way landing pages are organized, as mentioned in other threads.
I barely have any sales of recent products; 2025 was disastrous in that regard. Many of the designs end up hidden without being seen.
Exactly. Why create new designs when they will not sell.
@osea And why would that be Osea?
I see a Zazzle Creator username need to be entered as Name and Surname (Optional). “CO 88” does not sound as a Name and Surname. Is your real name “CO”? Never heard that.
@osea Where exactly does it say that so I can educate my self and — maybe — make some adjustments to my profile?
