Zalzal Interface Bug: The 'Customizable' Toggle Button is Missing

Hey everyone,

I’m a new issue in the design upload interface on the “Zazzle” website.

When I upload a new design, I no longer have the button/option to mark specific text or image elements as “customizable” by the end customer. That toggle option has simply disappeared from my screen.

Have any of the other designers experienced this? Is this a global bug or just happening to me? Any help or direction would be greatly appreciated

@LoolivaDesigns   Which browser are you using?

Just tested in firefox and the Make this a template option is there under More Options

‏i will try in another

thank you

@LoolivaDesigns  Can you post a screenshot of what you can see? The More Options is on the right hand side of the design tool. It is enabled when either the text layer or image layer is selected on the left hand side (though it isn’t there with zazzle shapes)

Hi @LoolivaDesigns  , the only way i can replicate this is if i select an element which isn’t meant to be customizable or templatized by a customer. As you can see here, i can’t templatize a shape element, but i can templatize text.

If this is something you are trying to do, tell us what it is you want to templatize and we might have some suggestions or workarounds to share.

Thanks  @James , but it doesn’t work for me with text and images.

Are you logged into a shop? Because that looks like the customer side editor. Or did you by chance start on someone’s design and then clear it out? Because that would also put you on the customer editor.

Try using a blank product to design on. Zazzle’s blank products can be found here:  https://www.zazzle.com/custom

You can either search through their product categories or type the product you want to design on in the search bar.

I always do it like that.

Apparently that’s the problem, when I come in from my store, Zazel thinks I’m a customer
