Zazzle Product Tags in Instagram not working

I am trying to tag my Zazzle products using the Tag Products feature in Instagram.

Unfortunately, none of my products from either one of my stores appears. I have tried newly posted and stuff posted 6 mos ago. I have even tried doing a custom tag as a test to see if it could find it. 

Steps:

  • Edit Instagram Post
  • Click Tag on left side of image
  • Click Tag Products
  • Click image to place the tag
  • Choose Zazzle under suggested shops
  • Attempt to search for one of my products

Perhaps this is an Instagram issue, but would be interested to see if anyone has solved this

Hi @idraw  , I read as many of those as I could find, but did not see a fix. I am hoping support can look in to this and get it addressed.

After all, it can make us both money :slightly_smiling_face:

@Maralane  If you read through the instagram Help Centre you may find the answers you seek

As you are not the owner of Zazzle’s catalog of products (they are) I don’t think you’ll be able to tag your products specifically.

I can’t see  Zazzle setting up a checkout shop on Instagram ( it incurs extra fees payable to instagram/FB)  but you never know

Hi Sara,

Thank you for your response. I learned that some people are currently able to tag their items on Zazzle, which then makes it so much easier for the customer to reach your item.

I have also heard that Instagram was looking to make money also, but I guess I was hoping to take advantage of this feature like others are doing, at least until it is no longer available.

I use to be able to tag my products from Zazzle because in the products themselves I use to tag them with my shop’s store name. I was able to find my products usually by searching my store’s name, however it probably screwed up my product’s searches on the actual Zazzle website. I’ve since taken those tags off my products. Just today I tried tagging a product on Instagram and Zazzle did not show up as a store option at all. It’s possible what @Sara_H  mentioned that Zazzle decided not to set up checkout through Instagram/facebook. I think it would help with sales if they did.
