Can no longer re-arrange in "All Categories"

From time to time I would re-arrange my categories in "All Categories" by clicking and dragging to new desired position.  Now they no longer are able to be re-arranged.  Has something changed or am I doing something wrong?

I just tested re-arranging "all categories" in one of my stores and it worked as normal. I had to click on the category I wanted to move a couple of times before being allowed to drag the category into the desired place, but it worked. I moved several categories.

Dancing Pelican,  Since you along with Sara_H above are able to re-arrange your categories, it must be something I am doing wrong.  Though I have done this many times in the past, it has been awhile, so I guess I will go back and try again and see if I can figure it out.  Appreciate your input!  Thanks.

Which browser are you using? I've just tried on firefox (windows) click then drag a category and rearranged it successfully

Sara_H, I am using Chrome on my iMac desktop and I have done this so many times without a problem, which is why I cannot figure out if I have forgotten the process or if things have changed.  From what you tell me, I do not think things have changed in how you do it, so it must be me.  Thank you for responding!

Sara_H and DancingPelican,   I just tried again and this time I was able to do it, but it is "sluggish" whereas before, I could in one swoop drag and drop to a new place, now it takes 2 or 3 steps to get it to the new place.  And there does seem to be a delay in it actually  arriving in the new position.    But it seems to eventually get to where I want it.   Thanks again to you both.

The site is probably just running a bit slow. Happy you managed to rearrange!

I experienced the sluggishness too, but was able to drag the categories into the desired order on the 2nd attempt. Glad it is working for you now!
