I've made a number of new collections recently but I don't remember what date I created them.  Is there a way to see the date a collection was created.  In this way I could check what is eligible and what is not.  I know we can see dates for products, but I can't seem to find the date of creation of the collection.

SwissVillage,

Open any product. Go to quick stats button, click to open it and see the date of creation on the window that popsout. Please see the imagequick stats.PNG

Cool! Thank you. 🙂 The photo is very helpful.

Thank you!

Question regarding the 4 different prize categories. If you submit a Collection, are the products within that collection automatically eligible/entered for the Ultimate Moment Creator (Products) and Top Moment Products categories? Or would I need to submit additional submission forms for singular products within an already-submitted collection in order to be eligible for the 'product' prizes? (Or if you submit a collection, are the products within the collection not even eligible for the single product prizes?) Thank you!

Still in need of a bit of clarity. Seeing that each category for the contest are these:

“Collections”

“Product”

”Collectors Choice”

”Top Moment Products”

And there is one form listed here: https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSe87bSd0my7O0XgNlRVYIFf0mYh91roomYfb6a5vqy7T5-idg/viewform

My question is this…do we fill-out this particular form 4x (one for each category submission) or are there 4 separate kinds of forms?

Thank you.

Yes.  Fill it in 4 seperate times and submit individually.

Hi, I've been trying to find the DATE that I created my collection, as I know it was on or around the 8th, but not certain. Most of my products were created after the 8th, so i submitted my entry form, but really would love to know where I can find the exact date my collection was created. Thanks

Hello!

I have a question about sharing a particular Facebook post from my public Facebook page. When I go to "share" with the share button, I get three options (share to feed, share to group, share using WhatApp). When I go to the dots at the top, I get an embed code option...

I have a couple of posts on my page that relate to the product, but I don't know how to get the judges to these specific locales so they don't have to scour the whole page feed.

I would appreciate your help! 😄
Thank you so much in advance.

Amanda,

Sign-in to your FB page via a web browser > click on your post > copy the URL in the top of the browser search bar > paste into your entry form:)

You are awesome! Thank you. I will try this. 😊

Do you submit more than one entry for each of the separate categories, collections, products, etc? Or does one collection entry cover all categories? I only entered 1 submission. It was a collection link?

I asked the same question below and am still wondering the same. If you submit a collection, do you need to pick one of the products in that collection and submit it as a single product in order to be eligible for the 2 PRODUCT category prizes? Is that what you're wondering too?

LauraLacina

Yes, I think I will submit again with just a couple of products within the collection, not sure if it is right.

Not an official answer, but I ended up submitting a collection and then a specific product within the collection as two separate entries. I feel like if it’s a collection link, it will be considered for collection categories. Because there’s no limit on how many times you can enter, I felt this was the most clear way to do it.

Thank you, I think I will do it that way, See how it works. Thanks for your help

Hi, I have a question, when adding media to collection should cover or video be primary?

It is up to the Creator based on what you feel is best to market your collection.

Hello,

I KNOW I've seen this question asked, but I can't for the life of me relocate it:
How do I see the exact date I created a product?

Thank you so much! 😄

Hi @Amanda23
If you scroll down to the bottom of your product page, there's a section called 'Other Info'. You should see the creation date there.

Awesome! Thank you so much. 🙂

@Kashif61

1. Select the text or image you want to make customizable

2. Scroll to the bottom of the right-hand menu and open the More Options section

3. Turn on the 'Make this a template object' option

4. Make sure 'Allow editing on product page' is also turned on

Badeesie,

I did not get you, please write in detail.

Thanks

This page explains how to do it.  The help pages are a good source of information.

I'm adding some screenshots in the hopes that they will clarify what I'm trying to say.

1. Select the text or image you want to make customizable.

2. Scroll to the bottom of the right-hand menu and click on the 'More options' label to open the section.

3. Turn on the 'Make this a template object' option. On the US site, at least, you can tell it's on when the circle is blue and at the right end of the switch. In the following image, "Make this a template object" is on and "Make object(s) permanent and always visible" is off.

4. Make sure 'Allow editing on product page' is also turned on. This option will not appear until after you have completed step 3.

Do you need anything explained differently or in more detail?

Thanks a lot, it worked

I wish I’d thought of this sooner: If I want to add more products to a collection I’ve created after the contest ends today, can I? I wouldn’t do so for them to be considered for judging, but just because it’s an ongoing, upcoming event (Eg. End of school year teacher thank yous).

Likewise, should I avoid updating covers and such for items in a collection I’ve entered? I have one large collection I’ve been adding covers to here and there because I find the work a little tedious and I think some of the default photos show the product well anyway. 🙂

Thank you!

It says in the FAQs not to make changes after you submit and if you make a change to resubmit. I’d just make another collection with your new stuff and merge them after they announce the winners and you know they are done.

Shoot. Now that you say that,  totally remember reading that when I first read the rules! I submitted two collections and definitely updated both after submission (before last night’s deadline). Definitely didn’t resubmit after changes. Lol

Oh well! It’s my first contest, so I’ll just chalk it up to learning experience! 🙂

Thank you. I will leave them both alone at this point obviously. I don’t want to somehow be disqualified.

Good luck to you. Thanks again!

You're welcome and Good luck to you as well!  I got mine in a couple of days before the deadline.  It is all I can do to manage one collection, so kudos to getting multiples in!

I suspect that they don't keep looking over them and checking for changes so that is why they want you to have your collection like you want it when they first open it and look.  Then, if you make it up further rounds of judging they look again as needed.   But I am totally guessing.  That is just how I have seen a lot of contests work in general and not Zazzle related.

This makes sense. I think I assumed that they wouldn't be reviewing until everything came in, but I bet you're right. It would be a lot to just wait around instead of getting a jump start on things! 😄

Hi Zazzle Creator team,

after adding the collection, I noticed that I made a terrible typo in two products. English is not my native language, so I only noticed this mistake after applying for the contest. Fortunately, it's content that the customer can correct himself, and I'm aware that after the contest ends, I will correct these mistakes and add the corrected products to the collection. However, I have a question: will this type of error (typos) disqualify my application?

No it does not. If you are a winner, we will reach out to have it fixed. Thanks!

Hi, Heather!

I appreciate the clarification. Thank you for your prompt response. Have a pleasant day!

Kashif61

The only thing that matters is your design which sholud be perfect and upto the expectations of the manager of the contest. English will not bother your credibility. This is my honest opinion.

Thanks

A. Rahman
