Question about Instant Download image format

I'm not new to graphic designs but I am new to Zazzle. I LOVE it here! Anyway can someone help me out?

All of the posters I've created are .png images with a transparent background. Can someone verify that when a buyer chooses Instant Download, they will receive the .png with the transparent background instead of a flat .jpg. 

Also, are there any rules in place about putting a few words in the description of each product that states something like "The instant download contains a .png with a transparent background". Is this common knowledge among buyers and not needed or allowed?

Thanks for the link. Is it ok to specify in the product descriptions that it's available as transparent .png ?
