Hello everyone,
I received two days ago an email from the Zazzle Content Review Team saying that I used a picture that infringed on someone else's copyrights, but in reality I got that image from a stock image website and I have the license to use it for commercial purposes (including POD). So they deleted the products where I was using that picture. I contacted them and I'm still waiting for their return but I have a question for you guys will they be making those products available for sale again or will I have to publish them again because one of them was one of my best sellers ?
Thank you in advance for your responses.

Just a thought… It is more than possible that the place you bought the rights from didn’t have them to sell in the first place…. I’ve seen plenty of copyrighted materials on sites that are more open about who gets to contribute - images from places like Pixabay, Pexels and Unsplash need to be carefully vetted.

What was the picture? If it was a landmark (like the Eiffel Tower), that could be the issue.

Not at all, just a random picture of a person running.

Hi...when you get this notice they show you the picture that was on the product, but the problem could actually be a word or tag that you used that is copyrighted or trademarked and not the photo itself. Was there a logo or emblem shown on the photo?

Not at all, no logo or emblem. I also think the problem is related to a word I used in the title, but they couldn't figure it out so they said that it's about the picture so they deleted all the products with that picture. Do they do these reviews manually or is it an algorithm ?

I believe they only pull down products when they receive a complaint from whoever owns the copyright etc, and yes, they will pull down all the products associated with that image. When you hear back from the content management team they will give you the exact reason it was pulled down.

You were right acctually the problem is due to a trademarked phrase I used on my title, it had nothing to do with the picture. I just explained that on my response. I hope they'll take the product with the trademark on the title and show again the other products with the picture.

Unfortunately they will likely not put it back up and you will have to re-make if it was in any of the titles or tags. I had this happen with a single word only in my tags. It wiped out 3 collections worth of items because I accidentally used a word in tags. The products were also no longer available in my 'saved designs'.

That is frustrating. That’s why I initially create my products in Illustrator and Photoshop, then move copies into the design tool. I also create a Word document that includes a pic of the finished design, the title, tags, and product description.
That way, recreating a lost product is quick and easy. It’s worth the extra effort.
