New Collections format makes it difficult to arrange products.

I am trying to rearrange my products - the old way used to show everything in the collection.  Now it cuts off at 40 products. "Load more products" doesn't add them, it takes me to a second page.  I do not see a way to move products between the two pages.  I could split each collection into 2 but I'm not sure if that would be the right thing to do.  Any suggestions on the proper way to set this up?

I have already spent the last few days fixing my 5 keywords for each design.  I don't know when it happened but all my keyword phrases were broken into single words and only a handful of those words were showing.  Weird ...

The Load More Products button that loads the next page of products instead...this will be fixed tomorrow night.

The multi-keyword tags being broken up into individual keywords is also known. Very sorry about this.

I have a collection with 83 products (therefore 3 pages). I can't tell if this is a feature or a bug. It may be a subtle way to steer us towards collections that have 40 or fewer products (thus more focused) or it may be a bug. Personally, I'm going to go with splitting just in case it's a feature. To be honest, it's unlikely customers have scrolled past 40 and they may have some internal testing telling them just that.

@kuczek

on the second page, drag the desired item to the top of that page. when you hit your browser's refresh button, the item that you've dragged to the top of the second page will now appear at the top of the first page (not sure if this is intentional or a bug, but it worked for me).

regarding your keywords -- it sounds like the delimiter between your keyword phrases (represented by a comma) had been eliminated, so maybe that's why your keywords ended up as single tags and ended up eliminating your other keyword phrases.

(e.g. baby blue flowers, becomes baby, blue, flowers).

I just tried that and it worked. Thanks 😁

I just tried it on one of my collections. I thought I was stuck with the first 40. Glad I read this.

I think it's a bug. I could have sworn the other day instead of a button that says "see more", there was a drop down button that said see all products. I don't know, there are so many variables on the editing pages now I get confused. Also there is no back button to the list of all collections, just a button that says "see it on Zazzle" I am always afraid to hit the back button to go back to all collections for fear it will un-do edits I've made.

totally agree, feels very counter intuitive... we need a SAVE button!

Hmmm... Didn't work for me... 🤔

Don't know what i am doing wrong? Out of about 50 tries 1 or 2 worked...? Do you actually have to push the refresh button? @Scott Apart from time spend on this new roll-out, re-arranging about hundred  collections with hundreds of products this way is really time consuming! And why can't new products be on top of the list anyway?

@NPL yes I do hit the refresh button. I've largely given up rearranging existing collections with 75 items or more.

I disagree about the missing delimiters. I’ve had the same problem, and I’m definitely not leaving them out. I thought maybe it was because I didn’t put phrases in quotes (it works without them when I’m entering a lot of tags at one time).

Oy Vay! You're right. It's like there's no way to move an item from page one to page two. Pretty much all of my collections have over 100 items, so this is a total mess. I keep hoping that at some point the recommended sort thing will actually kick in and it will be a moot point, but until then - if there's stuff on the wrong page I'm totally stuck.

The thing is that on recommended sort you have no choice, but we need to arrange the collections to how we want to promote them in social - for instance: in promoting a collection to Pinterest, the first 6 are shown, so it's still valid to arrange a collection. I like to put my besties at the top. 🙂

@WHS_Designs's hack (below) works for moving things to the top, but trying to move anything down gets super complicated. I guess maybe I should just ignore it for the time being until the recommended sort thing goes live.

@kuczek  Rejoice in the fact that you still have your keywords.  Mine have all completely disappeared... along with my well-thought-out descriptions.  😪  Wondering if anyone else has had this problem?  I'm searching the threads now to see if this issue has been mentioned.

The broken keyword issue is a longstanding one and was reported in the old forum. Occasionally they "stick" after editing and re-saving after several tries.

Even though it was a long list for many of my collections, I liked that I could load more on one page. A grid system would be nice to see with all products on one page.
