You've done a really nice intro, but there's no content, no example products that follow so people can think, "Hey, that's nice! I wonder what else I might find in this Zazzle store." You might be better off not going for a "short," but rather a full-sized video, one that a viewer can even set to full screen. Take advantage of what YouTube is capable of. I think shorts are more an Instagram sort of thing.

The video is about her New Year postcards, two of which appear in the video.

I'll have to go back to look again...
Oh, for goodness' sake, my apologies @TheDesignerVib1 ! I was totally distracted by the fireworks. I really need to grow up. LOL

I like it but for me it is too short because as Barb noted you easily miss the products! But its a great start.
I am a complete novice myself at content creation via Youtube but I'm presently working on it.
I think it is going to be a huge learning curve with a lot of low quality content to begin with but as with all things it will improve with practice. So we just have to use trial and error and invest in the time to make better quality content before we can see any positive results.

It's for sure a huge learning curve, and though I don't want to be a Debbie Downer, one has to think about YouTube and just how many videos are on the platform, much worse than here on Zazzle. On YouTube, people are usually searching for information or entertainment. You, Leah, are going in the right direction.
I used to have a web site named The Frame Locker where I sold video effects for slide show software. When I started here at Zazzle but was still running my business, I added a section for music-related products. I had a few videos on the site, one of them for my Zazzle guitar picks -- https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vkpjU-BKUKg . Did it work? Nope. People interested in video effects weren't interested in picks, and those interested in picks might have wanted to know how to design their own, not buy those created for them.
A person needs a "gimmick," something that pulls in eyes. The top-dog gimmick is information, specifically of the how-to sort. Yesterday while watching a chef, he used a piece of equipment that I reacted to, instantly buying it as a Christmas present for myself. His information led to a sale.

Some tips for you from just an average viewer.
There is no contrast between your postcards and the black night background. The white line around the cards don't make it easy to see them.
Don't use a large number of fonts through out the video. Stick to a very small number and in this case, fatter fonts to make them stick out on the black background.
The fireworks were a total distraction to me. Keep it simple!
And lastly, you can use shorts on Instagram Reels and possibly TikTok. That way you don't have to do three different promotional videos.

Lol I didn't think that fireworks would be a distraction! I have seen many people promote affiliate products from amazon and other retailors on TikTok, Pinterest and Youtube Shorts especially on YouTube shorts since they will start monetizing shorts in February 2023. But I think the best way to promote your products in a video is to buy it and show the quality and how the products look all around, which is something i will do when i earn some money. Also I do have tiktok i put that video on there and on Pinterest as well, i think Pinterest is working best me. TikTok does get some views, but they stop before reaching 1000,
Anyways thanks everyone for your advice! I really appreciate it to help improve my content! 🙂

Not everyone, but a number of us have found Pinterest to be best for our promotions.
