{Possible SCAM} Zazzle - Your validation is key to proper operation

Has anyone else received a strange email? It came from "verified_send334@icloud.com"

The message says

"Hello valued customer.  Esteemed business operator, important changes are happening! With the evolution of our service to a state-of-the-art payment system, store proprietors must complete shop verification. It's essential to verify the display of recent orders and enhance security measures. Initiate the validation procedure by clicking on the button below, leading you to the verification page."

When I clicked the link, it said my account was suspended, but it didn't appear to be when I closed the tab and went directly to my store to check. My guess is that it's not real, but I'm unsure.

@AlissaJones I’m positive it’s fake because I have received similar ones. I never click on the links in those emails. Most definitely never enter some credentials but you did this well. And thanks for the heads-up. 👍🏽

The first spam/scam message I have gotten via Zazzle came through the chat system and the person even displayed a first name and Zazzle as last name. It looked kinda official but then it vanished. I never seen it again.

Unfortunately, I did click on the link, but when I saw it was asking for my credit card information, I thought, "Hmmm, that's suspicious." I came here after forwarding the email to Zazzle Support. Hopefully, clicking that link didn't affect my account.

I hope so too. I think you just moved with the spammers into their “alive and kicking” pile which means they might contact you again to try with a different twist.

@AlissaJones

"Valued customer, esteemed business operator."... these two phrases are used by scammers, not Z. BTW, icloud dot com is not what Z uses at all. So, yes it is a scammer.
You said it was an email you received thru your email, and you clicked on the link,so please immediately BLOCK the email address thru your email tools with your provider account, and also report the email address and info  to Z.

Yep I did. I forwarded the email to Zazzle so they could be made aware of it as well.

"esteemed business operator" - totally scam... I feel like there is a spammer/scammer thesaurus out there (second cousin to the rhyming becktionary).. That phrase is almost as bad as the endless emails I get telling me something "weird" - a "weird fruit", "weird trick", "weird soda" etc. is going to make me lose a lot of weight, unplug my bowels or give me a giant 🍆 (and I'm not even a man..).

I received this through my email. Report to Z. I'm putting it here so other Zazzlers are informed.

Maybe we should have a thread to inform each other about all these frauds. Depending on when you read it, you might make a mistake and fall victim to the scam

One day after having spent weeks marking spam and scam individually, I leaned back in my chair and said "Enough!" Now absolutely everything goes into Junk. It saves time and aggravation. Go thou and do likewise.
