I as a designer find it hard to find out what ' px image dimensions' are required as a minimum for certain products when designing so I can only assume it is harder for customers. It would be fantastic if in the 'about section' of the product, this information was included so customers and ourselves can swiftly note the dimensions and then create/upload an image to suit without having to go back and forth or look for the pages that relate to these details.

A good case in point was recently trying to work out what px to use for rugs.

I recognize this lack of ability to easily access this info could also just be a 'me' problem!

Another way to approach this would be to have the image size/file type etc on the 'cover/place holder' images for the blank products. So it is instantly identifiable, and we don't even have to refer to the 'about this product' section.

Many years ago, I was taught to enlarge images in Photoshop using 10% steps, which reduced anomalies quite a bit (and still does). The few times I've used image enlargement software, I've had the sense it's working in a similar fashion. I've an old one called OnOne, which works fairly well but is semi-broken. I'll have to run a search for something else that's free. This thought has been brought on by the rugs, of course.

The guide files for area rugs are 100 dpi / ppi.

It's not just you. When I'm trying to upload an image to Zazzle, and it doesn't work- I wish they would just tell me is it too small or too big? I'm not good at numbers at all.

@Fayday  - Be assured that, if an image you upload is being rejected, it's because it's too small. Images that are larger than the space to be filled can always be reduced in size, but those too small can't be increased.

Whether it's in inches or pxs, I wish there were some kind of guideline on each object I'm creating so that I know what size the image needs to be. I have a standard pix amt that works for most items but then, like most creators, I have to go back and forth guessing at the size and constantly adjusting. It's frustrating and time-consuming!
