Advertising products on Pinterest or Next Door

Hello,

Has anyone advertised their products either on Pinterest or Next Door?  I want to be sure it's worthwhile before spending any money on ads.  Thanks for any information or opinions!

Good question!! I personally believe it’s wasted money but I have a neighbor who keeps telling me (just yesterday again) that „YOU HAVE TO PAY TO PLAY“.

But since you are mentioning Nextdoor have you considered the free ad section there? I once posted there an ad for German lessons/tutoring and I have received a request even several years later from that one free ad l had placed once on Nextdoor. It’s kinda like a bill board feature, your ad will not expire after some weeks or months. Maybe Nextdoor has changed that now though, it has been a while (years actually) that I was on it.

I just posted my first 3 ads.  The first one I spent $21 on. I received 15.4K impressions and 35 pin clicks. The second one I spent $38 dollars so far (it's still running) I got 24.9K impressions and 71 pin clicks. The third one is still running and so far I've spent $30.72 received 17.68K impressions and 276 pin clicks. No sales yet on these but my account is speeding up. I'm getting more over all views and on the Zazzle end of things I now have a diamond "This item is trending" pin on my listings. I think it's good. I'm not expecting many sales due to the economy. I'm just looking to build up my Pinterest account at this point and hope that I can at least cover the cost of these ads. Hope this helps.

I forgot to mention that when I claimed my website, Pinterest gave me $100 ad credit. I don't know if this offer is still valid or not, but you may want to try. So all of what I did is only costing me about $50 total.

Thanks so much for the information!  Best wishes for lots of sales in the future!
