2023: Store Banner Is Blurry

My store banner is blurry. I’m using Chrome, also tried Firefox. I’m creating an 1140 x 315 image in Canva, inserting product mock-ups made by Zazzle. I’ve created lots and lots of banners over the years, and they’ve been fine.

BTW, in Help it says the dimensions should be 2280 x 380. That can’t be right.

Help.

The banner you have made is smaller than the suggested size - that’s why it’s blurry. - 1140 x 315 is smaller than 2280 x 380

Just redo it to the size that zazzle suggests

List of Image Sizes for Your Storefront

Store banners are resized by Zazzle to 2048 x 565 and then are scaled to fit the viewing device … The minimum allowed size is 1140 x 315.

Sounds like you’re using the minimum size and it’s getting scaled up.

2280 x 380 is very long and thin. I can’t see how that’s right. Should it be 1205 x 380, by any chance? (I added 65 to 1140, because 65 was added to 315.)

2280x380

I usually make mine in Illustrator, at 1140px x 315px (the minimum), and they work. I started using Canva because of its awesome background remover. Is there something different about Illustrator’s dimensions?

I normally make a huge one and then crop to fit

Anything lots bigger with the same aspect ratio? That makes sense. Thanks.

Yes, I’ve seen this; very helpful! But since you’ve reminded me, I bookmarked it! :slightly_smiling_face:

ColsCreations, does that mean that the 2280x380 is scaled to 2048x565? I don’t understand why Zazzle recommends the 2280 when it’s forced cropped to a smaller size. I found 1380x380 to fit within the forced crop area and my banner works well at that size.

I am having the same issue
