I learned that bot traffic slows down your website and influences your standing or ranking on google or other web search engines. I also read that Zazzle is aware of it, but wonder if Zazzle is able to do anything about it.

Actually I don’t mind bot traffic at all because it tells me my products are being discovered, cataloged, and ranked. Bot visits are simply search engines and social platforms crawling our listings so they can show up in places like Google Images, Google Shopping, Pinterest search, and even inside Zazzle’s own marketplace system. It looks strange in analytics, but it doesn’t hurt ranking and it doesn’t slow down Zazzle’s site. Big e‑commerce platforms get crawled constantly, and that’s normal. Google has said many times that those quick “0‑second” bot hits don’t affect SEO, and I’d be more concerned if bots weren’t crawling my store because that would mean nothing is being indexed. So while bot traffic can look odd, it’s actually part of how our products get visibility and how customers eventually find us.
