No, I haven’t had that kind of experience. For me, it’s more of a general issue where a lot of images just won’t load during peak hours—no matter where, whether here in the forum or in the shop. Someone else also reported this as a bug. It seems to me that it’s all part of the same issue.
Anyway, I can see your cover images here; maybe you can’t see them, but the rest of us do.
