Can Zazzle Fonts Be Too Small?

I was just looking at some address labels.  When I make them they look just okay, as I try to keep my fonts at about 9.  However, there are some high ranking ones displayed and when I click on them to see how they fit all the text I see something like 5 or 6.  Isn’t that too small to read?  Or, maybe it does not matter as it is probably read by a machine?  What do you think?

It depends on the font that’s used. The size isn’t consistent across all fonts; for example, Dongle set at 5 would be microscopic, while Life Roman at 5 would still be readable.

I think the best approach is to shrink your view down to approximate the real-life size of the label which is much smaller than the large previews we see. Can you still read the text without a magnifying glass? If not it’s too small (unless it’s someone’s intention to have tiny “read-the-fine-print” info that’s purposefully hard to read).

I think for any small item, what it looks like when we shrink the view down to real-life size is more important than the # size of the font.
