No matter how I try this today, I can’t make a square element into a rectangle by holding down the shift key. It worked for me the other day. Wasting a lot of time trying. Anyone else having this problem and how are you getting around it

They changed it back. Now Shift keeps the aspect ratio but not holding shift lets you change it.

And make sure under Settings, Lock Aspect Ratio is not checked. (Thank you @KeegansCreation for letting us know this feature has changed back.)
