Collection set to private

Here’s mine. It doesn’t show locked anymore but when I post the link anywhere, you click it and it says sorry there are no results.

@bhdxxx  I’m not seeing any products in the collection at the moment and you have only 3 products showing in your store. Collections need more public products (at least 6 I believe) Create more products, add to the collection and wait for the products to index and they should appear

Hi @bhdxxx ,

Thanks for providing a link to the Collection. I can view the Collection publicly on my side so it appears to be working correctly. A number of products in the Collection are marked as hidden which may have led to the Collection not displaying previously.

That’s the thing, there are 3 products in the collection even though it says no results.

I don’t understand how they are marked as hidden. How do I un-hide them?

@bhdxxx  to unhide your products if they have an eye with a cross through

  • go to your store - and click on the actions drop down just underneath the product

Click ‘make public’ - then agree to terms and click done - it will take a day or so for them to appear again

This is still an issue. Here a collection I created today and it was set automatically to private. https://www.zazzle.com/collections/119731454217316102

If you have a newly created collection (if it’s less than 1 day old) it may need to be indexed before it can be viewed publicly. That’s being discussed in this other conversation so feel free to post about your issue there (or just hold off and wait a day to see if it fixes itself): https://community.zazzle.com/t5/technical-issues/new-collections-are-setting-to-private/m-p/104448

This discussion (“collections set to private”) is quite vague, and it could be inviting any number of different bug reports to be added here. So, rather than allowing this discussion to persist as a catch-all discussion where posts may get lost, I’m going to close this conversation. If you have an older/existing collection that is not showing up please create a new thread and we’ll be happy to lend a helping hand as best as we can.

See my comment at the end of this discussion thread. Give it a day to be indexed, and if it’s still showing as private then create a new discussion.

I don’t mean to lock the thread right after your post, but I can’t guarantee that I’ll be able to track down this post tomorrow given that it’s surrounded by months-old posts.
