I have no idea how to use this big ammount of mockups and my designs / images.
I would opt to get a special folder for mockups that doesn’t appear in the designer area. Or a system of 3 folder.
Because, yes, I use folder and sort everything. But if you do a new design, the older one or basic elements of my own, are so far away in the back of the media system, it’s a little bit time wasting to wait and get them. Just because, if I do mockups, they will be appear as the last images there. It’s really time consuming to search, even if I open the media manager, knew exactly where to get the files I want.
It is just a different task, mockups and designs, have nothing in common for me. And all the “decorating” images for collections and all other banner and categories. The one is “shop management”, the other is “create products” and something else, own used images to purchase and custom something.
Would love to hear how you deal with this topic. My routine means, mockups is a own task and something for “no inspiration moments”, make them, sort them, open every product, add them, then sort them away in every file. But in the working area, they will be the last “fresh” images. And endless hours I spend waiting to get the one I want.
