I love that you speak so politely to your Chat GPT!
In my experience, Ai can’t take a text design and put it in a mockup - it always recreates the design so the fonts often aren’t the same, especially script fonts. If I recall correctly, it’s related to font licensing. I have the paid version of ChatGPT and a few other AI tools, but sadly none of them can do it. Ai is a little better at reproducing products with images only, but it’s definitely not perfect.
i just tried chat gpt for the first time. i was able to create this mockup:
however, when i tried to iterate by removing the vertical poles in the background, chat gpt completely shat the bed and ruined the design on the mug as @Cat mentioned.
i tried to go back to the original image and start again but i had hit the limit for the day. not exactly incentivizing me to give them money.
The specificity of the prompts in ChatGPT and Google Gemini are key to achieving the cover images without alteration. I recommend Canva for text-based stationery items
This is often a problem with IA mock-up generation. What I do in this case is remove the background of the corresponding zazzle image, and place the resulting product over the ChatGPT generated picture.
i ditched canva because there’s not much room for creativity. also not many options at all in the free plan.
I use Gemini/Copilot to do just this as well as I will upload the image Im wanting to use and ask it to give me a title, description and 10 tags to use as well, and it is amazing not having to think of a good title and detailed description to come up with. You do have to play around with it a little bit to get it to be the exact wording that you want but it is well worth it.
this isn’t a perfect mock–the cat is sleeping in my actual design, but i was never going to get the design to conform to the shape of the shirt w/out ai.
