Adding to my previous posted questions about deleting stores and rank changes, another question—converse to my other questions—
will deleting these stores cause our rank to go up or not affect our present rank for our public stores?
The team is working on getting answers to the questions that you (and others) have asked. In the mean time, we do ask that you give us a bit of time to speak with stakeholders within the company before returning with an answer. In the mean time we ask that you not repost these same questions elsewhere as this creates an unnecessary distraction, and is generally disrespectful of others.

For anyone who doesn’t spot their empty stores with a notion to delete them as happened to me, I just went back to look and finally spotted that my Colorwash store was “pinned,” whereas the other two (reasonably) weren’t. That’s when I saw the link for all stores. I was then able to happily delete the detritus.

I can’t see a way to delete unwanted stores either.

@mylittleeden Here’s how I got there: I clicked on my avatar at top right, and in the dropdown, clicked on “My Stores.” That’s how I was presented with just one store until I saw that it was “pinned.” There was a choice to show all stores, which is what I did and which then brought up the rest of the stores, which was just two more–the stores I wanted to delete. I clicked on one of them and then saw a trash can, clicked on it, and away the store went. I did the same with the other store.
I am having the same issue, trying to delete a store and getting the error message not being able to delete the store because there are products in the store ( there are no products in the store) however I did notice that a sale was made last week, and this sale has not cleared. I will try again after the sale cleared. I assume this might be the reason for me not being able to delete the store.

Still waiting for Zazzle techs to resolve the issue about removing most of my empty stores.

or any Zazzle Admins, please ask tech to help remove most of my empty stores. I first requested tech help 6/30, today 7/19 still not able, still getting error, and no message about my issue from Admin or Tech.
Same error message that LMGildersleeve provided a screenshot for in this forum.
Which is—“You have products in this store. In order to delete a store you need to delete all the products in it.”
There are no products in any of my empty stores, no collections, no banners.
Also I noticed that all my empty stores have rank, will deleting these stores affect the rank of my remaining public stores? I asked three weeks ago, and was not given an answer.

I suspect the culprit not allowing us to delete some of our stores is the old discontinued products bug. Many years ago there was a product that was discontinued and when it left our stores it left a phantom of sorts. Many of us remember not being able to delete a store category because of this. I still have categories that can not be deleted from this bug. The stores I’m trying to delete are very old.

I also cannot delete a store. Every time I try I get the message that there are products in the store. There are No Products in this store. This store has been checked private for years and I have not added any new products. I completely deleted all the old products last month. Have been trying to delete for a few weeks. We are aware of an issue that is keeping some stores from being deleted. I don’t have an update on when this issue will be resolved. When I have more information I’ll be sure to share it.

Just went back to delete some stores that I emptied out weeks (months?) ago, and I still can’t remove them.

Are there any updates yet? I still have several shops I cannot delete. (EX: Footitude)

Is this still being looked into? Should we contact someone who can delete the shops for us?
I contacted them last week and they said they were looking into it. By “they” the support person said “community support.” IDK if that’s a department or a board/forum like this one or what. But yea, same issue as everyone else.

Yeah, I reached out over a month ago to ask them to delete them. They’d turned it over to the team to handle it. I asked for an update last week and they said they were investigating it.
I suppose they want to know why it’s happening so they can fix it. I just want them gone. 🙄
