if a seamless repeating pattern looks fine viewed at 100% but at 300% some pixelation and color shade differences etc become visible… will those flaws show up on wallpaper and other large products?
what scale are large products actually printed at?
I am trying to up my game! thanks
From what I know, the design tool will send you a warning message when you expand your image so much that the quality resolution reduces. I also receive warnings when I’m designing outside of the margins. Not sure if this answers your question.
When you increase screen size to 300%, the image will almost always be pixelated. It’s a result of screen resolution, not print resolution.
so you are saying that it should be fine when printed?
Yes. Zazzle doesn’t increase the size of anything beyond 100% of your image’s actual size. Never would they, nor should they, go beyond that because the result would be the same as yours at 300%. The only time I do that sort of thing is when I’m editing an image in Photoshop and am working on a tiny detail that’s difficult to get into.
