So today I created several new products… Published them… Suddenly now they’ve disappeared? Even though hours ago they were there. Not showing in back end of store, or in saved designs. For some reason they show up in their Collections, but that’s it.

If I remember correctly, Thursday/Friday Z processes indexing/spidering, unless they changed their schedule. Might have something to do with products disappearing.

There isn’t a set schedule for indexing. It basically runs in a circle, and just goes around and around picking up changes over and over again. So, Thursday and/or Friday doesn’t have much significance here.

I created a bunch of products today and the ones I created first are all missing while the last ones I made do show in my backend. I did check 4 or 5 pages back since the newest to oldest sort has been messed up but I didn’t see them anywhere. Fingers crossed they will be back tomorrow.

I am relatively sure it used to be those two days years ago. Thank you for letting me and all others know that the indexer chases its tail like a dog continuously. LOL
That does not solve or answer the questions as to why 5 people all at the same time have posted in this topic saying they suddenly have missing products. I thought it was the indexer, but nooooo.
As a solution, I got bupkus. (as in no ideas)

So, has anyone noticed that the products that we created yesterday that temporarily disappeared picked up about 5-10 views on their invisible walkabout?

yes a couple of mine did. that also happened to the ones in early June that had temporarily disappeared when all these glitches started.

I created something on Wed & it already has 13 views! Which never happens. Also, it’s not even appearing in the mp yet, although it’s showing up on “public” in its assigned collection. Hmmm…
