Edit Button? Delete Post Button?

There is an Edit option. Click the arrow icon on your post. I can’t recall if I saw a delete option. EDIT: Just checked… Saw no delete option

The “arrow icon” referred to by Gina is in the upper right corner above the date: a down arrow in a Circle.

I noticed after your post your post, you can’t get the edit button anymore from the drop down menu.

I don’t have an edit option in that list?

Thanks, I’m not seeing an edit option either. I guess it was there but now isn’t available?

You can only edit your post within a short period of time after it is posted, it seems. I was able to edit a post I had just posted, but when I went to edit one that I posted 30 minutes prior I was not able to. It seems there is a time limit.

ooooooh, that makes sense. I did see an edit button on a new post I did so I thought maybe I was just missing it for the others.

Well, I wish edit/delete were always available. Sometimes I search and can’t find an answer so I post, but then go back and search some more and find it or just figure it out. So my post becomes irrelevant.

in my experience the edit function works for something like 15 seconds. After that, it’s etched in stone.

That is a bummer we can’t edit our top level posts anymore! So the sticky concept… and a continued topic in a thread isn’t going to be as easy to do?

This is another disappointment with the new forum.

Unfortunately, I don’t always notice my mistakes until I post.  This may be because English isn’t my native language and/or because I’m too lazy to take much time proof reading my posts before hitting the post button. Of course I get frustrated with myself when later on I notice my mistakes.  Sadly, you  may see a lot of mistakes in my posts, unless we get an edit button soon (one that gives me more then just a few seconds to edit).

At this point we do have a 30 minute window on editing, which has been helpful. I never would have figured you for a non-native English speaker! @WBartworks

Thank you, Windy for letting me know about the editing time and your very kind compliment!
