While changing the “Edit Image (or Design)” button to “Design with This Image” makes sense for customers, it doesn’t make sense for designers. Why can’t Designers’ environment be different than the Customers’ environment?
This unannounced change really threw me off. It’s an unnecessary change.
The customer actually has ‘Personalize This Design’ still from what I can see. But I agree, it’s weird wording for us and threw me off the other day. Why can’t it just say ‘Edit Product’.
I agree. The “keep it simple” rule is the golden rule when it comes to design. And that includes web design.
I’m glad I’m not the only one who thought this was odd. In light of all the changes designers have had thrown their way over the past year I guess I immediately expect the worse and wondered if there is something else coming our way.
