I have heard people in the forum mention “group products”. I have only seen that under Products on my product page under “actions”. When you group products: What kind of products do you group? Where is it shown? How is it different from Collections and Categories. This is ever so confusing. Is this only about the same item in different color variations? Or is it about Grouping a group of items such as a group of all party products?

Grouping refers to multiples of the same product with the same design but in different color schemes. Here is an example from my own store of grouped wrapping paper. You will see that it is a single roll of wrapping paper but the design comes in 3 color options. In the back end it shows as three different rolls of wrapping paper.
If you have products like this, you select them all and select “group” from the dropdown menu. It takes awhile to show up. They do have to be the exact same design and the exact same product and the only difference being color.

I was looking for a way to Group items similar such as “Party Goods”. Is there anyway to let your customers know that you create in a niche that celebrates one idea?
Collections (seen as a scroll beneath your product on the product page) and thematic categories (seen in your store).
This will be great ! Zazzle should give a try to a Bundle feature to group products together like party items etc…
