Does anyone know of a fix that actually works for Windows 10 File Explorer not showing images, just icons? Every time I try to do a search, it somehow triggers something that makes all the preview images disappear, permanently until i restart the computer. (and sometimes that doesn’t even work.) I’ve tried the solutions I found online, which were useless because I already have the things unchecked or checked that are supposed to be.
Did you try selecting the thumbnails option?

there’s a little icon in the bottom right - click that and images will show

So it turns out that there was a extension or something that was messing everything up. When I disabled it, it’s working fine again. It came from when I installed Photoshop CS5- there was a bad file in there that was for Vista, and was messing up Windows 10.
