can someone refresh my memory on how to get the Mask option to appear in the design tool. Where is it hidden?
Once again, thank you Doggenhaus for your detailed directions. I am sorry but I am afraid for me, one needs to “dumb it down a bit” for me to follow. I have done the mask lots of time in the old design tool but this new version is way more convoluted to get to the mask and enough time goes by between those times that I find myself once again trying to get to it (so much more time than the old way!). Zee and I were communicating and even though I followed the suggestions the mask option never showed up. You pick a round element. You make it transparent in the center and place it over the image where you wish it to be. You choose both the image and the circle and supposedly the mask option will pop up. But even Zee was not getting it to show up for me. So I am still puzzled about the process which I really do not think should be so complicated.
I was able to get the mask option to show up by doing exactly what you described @whatawonderfulworld. The only time the mask option didn’t show up for me was if the second layer was set as a tiled pattern or was an svg file.
Barbara_at_Array_Sto, it is sort of strange because sometimes I get it to work –no problem and then other times like today no matter what I tried it did not seem to work. I need to write down the steps the next time I do it and it works! Thanks for stopping by and sharing.
