How Many Products to Create Under the Same Description . . .

There may be not one right answer for this, but would love to get your input.  

When creating paper plates for example, is it best to create one in every size and shape with a title to match?  I.e. round, square 7" or 9" or bowl?.  Or is it beneficial as a seller to create just one?  And then create the design so it fits each size and shape?
