Today I was viewing and liking other creators products and noticed that many people just add the product title + a few keywords in the description. sure, that doesn’t hurt anything… but Zazzle gives us up to 1,000 characters. So I thought I would ask the community > Do you feel like that space should be used more fully?
I’ve always felt this section is a chance to talk directly to the customer. Since Zazzle gives us so much room 1000 characters, I personally use it to connect with the buyer instead of repeating the title. I tend to be a little long‑winded I like writing about the features, the benefits, the artwork, and I always let customers know the design is fully editable or transferable to another product. Sometimes I try to create the “need,” like helping them picture how they’d use it or who they’d give it to.
When I write a fuller description, some customers actually mention details from it when they message me. So at least some shoppers really do scroll down and read it. a longer description keeps people on the page longer, which can only help. But I wish Zazzle would move this section higher up instead of burying it at the bottom. Wouldn’t it be more useful if customers saw it sooner?
