I have been a member of the Zazzle Promoter Program since 9-23-19. Is this being phased out with the new “Ambassador Program”? I can not find this program mentioned anywhere is the new “Terms Of Use”.
I have three websites that I own that I use to promote my Zazzle products through this program.
Thanks for your reply. So that means we have to relink everything on our websites (I have 3) with referral codes? And we loose our 35% referral- back down to 15% again? It almost doesn’t seem worth the time it will take. Anyone else experiencing this?
Thank you for showing me this. I didn’t notice the link when I read the policy. This is still a bit unclear. Do you read it as 40% (Accessories as an example) of the purchase price? This was the way the Promotor program calculated the commission. And I assume there is nothing we can do until they instruct us as how to officially join this new program, correct? (Which is only a few days away.)
@driveindustries I imagine so but will have to wait until the 1st rolls around and we find out the details in regards to joining and how this Ambassador Referral Commission works exactly. The old 35% PP2 program covered all departments whereas ARC is department led.
It does appear that the two current types of referrals are being eliminated in favor of a single one, but it’s not clear how this will be accomplished. With the old referral ID or with an entirely new one or with no such ID at all? We have to wait for clarification, which I hope occurs on April 1st and is written in English.
In the meantime, redoing URL’s on social media and web sites sounds like a nightmare, but maybe it won’t be. Fingers crossed.
My gut (pure speculation… I’m a logical thinker) is our Members number will still be the rf# and a clean link will still garner us better rewards on our own product referred sales. My money is nothing will change, just the PP2 royalties will be altered.
