New Design Tool Automatically Changing Font Size

With the new design tool:

  • I select a text box and change its font size.
  • Then, I select a second text box.
  • The text in the second box automatically changes to match the font size of the first text box.
  • This only stops happening if I deselect the first text box before selecting the second.

Is anyone else experiencing this? I think it must be a technical glitch!

Yes, happens every time

I’ve also found that clicking once in the text box after adjusting the font size prevents this happening. It’s only obvious when there’s a significant font size change, so smaller adjustments could go unnoticed!

Definitely a bug that needs to be reported with the feedback form!

I’ve found that this issue happens differently depending on how you input a font size value.

  • Manual input in the font size box, and then selecting a second text box, it happens immediately.
  • Using the ± buttons to change the font size, and then selecting a second text box, the text appears unchanged, however, the font size field reflects the adjustment.
  • If you then use the ± buttons on the second box, the change is registered. You can only prevent this by deselecting the box or manually entering a new value.

This same issue is also affecting the border thickness for “Dynamic Shapes,”  for both lines and shapes.
