There should be an opacity option for elements (shapes). It would help take our designs to the next level if we could overlay translucent shapes. It would be a sliding scale opacity option
Hey @Es,
Thank you for your feedback, I will pass this on to the team!

+1!
I would love to be able to adjust opacity. I can envision many uses for it on multiple types of products.
Not suggesting this is a replacement for your request but…
Just
I very easily create my own transparencies by changing the transparency of the graphics I work with in a graphics program. Alternatively I create square images with various transparency levels 10% 30% 50% for example.
It makes it very easy to add transparency style backgrounds by simply overlaying the created transparency image over our backdrop graphics.
But your request is a good request.
Search on the web for “Transparency in DTG printing”.
You’ll see some things that can happened with opaque/transparent elements in a design when printed.
I’m not sure if those things will happen when Zazzle prints them on a variety of products like shirts, mugs, paper etc. Just showing what could happen.
Things on the screen may not look like what will be printed. A 75% transparent layer could print just as a flat white color. Just my opinion.
I’d like to know what Zazzle recommends.
This a great idea that I often wish for. Also, the ability to make images a biy sharper when needed would help.
