Hi! I know there are other posts about Pinterest, but I don’t want these comments to get lost. I also don’t know if this is a technical issue, so I’m unsure if this post will be moved or merged with another.
A few weeks ago, we started experiencing problems sharing on Pinterest. It seemed to have been fixed, but some of us noticed that posts no longer lead to the product page. Since then, I haven’t read anything further about this, but I’m still encountering these issues:
-
I can’t share from the mobile version of my phone. I’m referring to the mobile version of the Chrome browser on Android, not the app. To share, I have to switch to “view as desktop”.
-
I can share without issues from my laptop with Windows 11 and Chrome.
-
If I try to create a manual pin from my mobile phone, it tells me I can’t do it because the site doesn’t allow it. I don’t remember if this issue also occurs on my laptop, as I haven’t tried it there due to not having problems. I can check if necessary.
-
When I visit Pinterest, some of my pins have a “visit” button and others don’t. For those that don’t, I try to manually change the link, but nothing happens.
-
I also checked Z’s Pinterest account, and their pins also don’t have a “visit” button. To my surprise, it seems there’s been no activity on their boards for a year. I don’t understand this, considering most people argue that Pinterest is (or at least was) one of their main sources of traffic. I suppose this could be related to high-level business negotiations, but I’m not sure.
All of this obviously stems from frustration and low sales.
Since 2020, I hadn’t had two consecutive days without sales in my account, and I don’t know what else to do. Without Pinterest, my options are even more limited.
