Hi Everyone. : ) Just wondering if it’s normal for the Pinterest page that shows your Zazzle store name at the top to not have the option to create boards or pins. Looks like my only option is to click on my profile pic to do so. That concerns me. The info I’m getting on Pinterest help is not clear to me. I don’t know if I have different accounts linked there or what. Thank you so much in advance. Cheryl
The only place that you can create or post things on Pinterest is on your own pages. I’m not sure what you mean about a page that has your Zazzle shop name at the top, is that a page that you created? If it’s not your account you can’t pin things to it, so if it’s a Zazzle account page then you can’t add things to it because it’s not technically yours.
Thank you for your reply! : ) At the top of the page I see my profile pic with my own name and Zazzle store name along side it. If I click on that section, right underneath it, it shows an option to show Ad Accounts, Profiles, and Catalogs. Under the Ad Accounts it shows my Zazzle store name, ID number, and it also says, Permissions: Account Owner. On that same page it says that I haven’t saved any pins yet. But if I click on my other profile pic, which shows on the very right side of the page, Pinterest does show pins I have saved, including my Zazzle pins, and the board they are on on.
It sounds like you’re looking at your ads manager page or something like that, which is something that you don’t need to worry about for pinning things. I can’t replicate what you’re describing so I can’t say for sure, but I think you can ignore the first section that you’re saying is the ad/catalog section (that’s for websites that have products that upload a catalog to Pinterest) and just go to the profile picture and click on that to take you to your Pinterest homepage. The section that says “created” is all the pins that you’ve directly uploaded to Pinterest yourself, or pinned from other pages (like if you share someone else’s design,) The section that says “saved” is all of your boards, and there should be a board at the very top that has all of your pins on it, including things that you’ve saved while you’re browsing on Pinterest.
From what you’re saying, it sounds like the pages that says you haven’t saved any pins is somewhere in your ads manager, which handles saved pins that you’ve run ads for. That’s my guess, anyway, since I can’t see your account to say for sure. We aren’t allowed to advertise Zazzle listings, as far as I understand it, so you don’t need to worry about that!
Edited to add: To use the Pinterest scheduler you need to click on either “pinterest” or “Business hub” at the top left of the screen (this is on desktop.) That takes you to the business hub, and from there you click on “Create Pin for Idea ad.” Don’t worry, this isn’t only for ads, but if you use this option it saves your drafts so you can leave and come back if you can’t finish in one sitting. Once you’re in there you can upload images to create and schedule pins using the Pinterest native scheduler. The things that you’ve scheduled will show up at the top of your homepage above the “created/saved” buttons, so you can see what you’ve scheduled already.

Thanks again! I really appreciate you going to such lengths to help me. I added the url of the Pinterest page that does show my pins and boards to my social media on Zazzle, but when I click on it myself, I am taken back to that same blank page on Pinterest that shows no pins or boards. I think I will create an organic pin and see if that helps. : )

This has been absolutely maddening! Pinterest help is NOT helping.
Just try and go to Pinterest
If you’re logged in, you should see the empty area to start a pin. I think you try to connect your shop with your ID at pinterest, but I’m not shure, if this is OK. Because the main domain name here is not ours. But try first, if you’re logged in and able to post something. I think you have more than one account. Made by yourself

I think I figured it out. You have two Pinterest accounts, one is https://www.pinterest.com/cheryljonesartist/ and one is https://www.pinterest.com/Jonesn2createart. The profile pictures are the same, so if you’re looking at one but it sends you to the other one when you click on the profile picture it’s going to be really confusing.
It looks like you’re probably logged into the Jonesn2createart account, so when you’re saving from Zazzle the pins are showing up there. If you were logged into the CherylJonesArt account, which is the blank one with your Zazzle shop name, they would show up there, but you have to switch logged-in accounts to be able to do that.
Check to see if this is right by clicking on the down-pointing V arrow to the right of your profile picture to see which account you’re logged in with. It will show the name that you’re currently logged in with at the top, and if you have other accounts that you’ve connected they’ll be under that. If there aren’t any additional accounts showing there, click on “add Pinterest account” and it will give you the option to connect an existing account. Try to connect the account that you’re not logged into, and both of them should show up. You can flip back and forth between them there, or just delete the account that you don’t want to use. (You can do that in the same menu that shows your accounts, go to Settings–Account management and scroll to the bottom of the page to delete the account you don’t want to use.

You got the full answer from @karab, I was still searching for your second name… Not sure, you knew how to reset a password and find out, which email address is connected to what account?
At least, just try it out.
We all forget sometimes this little informations and if you use a mobile app, pinterest immediately starts a fresh account for you. Nothing to worry about, just decide which one you really want to use for your zazzle activity and do it.
- to the domain of pinterest add /pin-creation-tool/ and see, what starts.
- to reset a password, go to the “forgotten password” option

Good morning! Well, long story short I ended up trying to delete all my Pinterest accounts, which looked like 3, and was a royal mess itself. I’m not sure if that worked because I can still log back in to Pinterest. But my plan is to wait 7 days (per Pinterest info) and see if my accounts are actually deleted. From there I plan to start fresh with one account. I can’t thank you enough for your great detective work. You have been so kind! Much success to you!
