The distribute tool no longer works when applied to a selection - it distributes it to the artboard, NOT to the selection. Since the custom sized posters and boards have been discontinued, I need to re-work about 2000 seating charts - it’s extremely difficult to do without this tool.
A very kind soul gave me the solution and I don’t remember who it was. Just click the distribution selection option and use it as usual. Ignore the fact that the radio button doesn’t appear selected.
