I have a bunch of products that were made years ago before the introduction of the fixed-width text boxes. I received a message yesterday from a customer who was having trouble customizing one of them: Fun White Tie Groom Wedding Foam Can Cooler | Zazzle
The customer was trying to replace the word “Groom” with “Groomsman” and from what I can gather she couldn’t get the last letter to appear. From the screenshot she sent, it didn’t look like the letter wrapped to a new line, it just wouldn’t appear (If I understand correctly.) The customer was using a phone, but I’m not sure if it was the app or if it was on the web page via phone - she hasn’t been terribly communicative.
I could not replicate the problem on my PC but I’m wondering if there’s a backwards-compatibility problem with one of the phone apps. I sent her a link to a version that already says “Groomsman” and have not heard back from her so I’m not sure if the problem is resolved or not.
Just wondering if I need to go through the thousands of products I have that use the old-style text boxes and replace them with the fixed-width kind, or if this is a one-off issue. I’d appreciate it if someone could look into it for me.
