My products haven’t had their colors grouped since 5/30/2025. It would be great if we could get an update on this 😕

I’d reallllllllyyyyyy love one too. Even if just to know if they are going to try to be fixing it or not. I have so many items right now that are not grouped. Automatic and requested both don’t work.

this needs to be fixed asap! grouping is such an important part of sales, so customers can select the color/s of their choice, and even know what choices are available.
please, zazzle, make this a high priority!

Hi! I’m having trouble grouping products too. I emailed Zazzle support, but it’s still not working.

OK, is this working for ANYONE? Not to speculate too much, but sounds like Zazzle’s working on something new instead of fixing this bug? Can’t be that big of a bug, so I’m betting they have a better solution they are waiting to roll out on some upcoming site release. (Just pure speculation, I have nothing to support this)

Moving to the top again. Can the moderators let us know if this is something that they are trying to fix? Or should we not expect the group feature to return? I really think it’s an important feature. Especially when you are making items that can coordinate or are shade changes that someone would still be interested in seeing as a color option.

why is it that one thing gets fixed and something that was working just fine gets broken! it shouldn’t be that hard to go back to a previous version of the code where the grouping was working.

I have a feeling this had something to do with when those weird color names appeared, and in an effort to make that go away it killed the group feature too. I’m not 100% sure, but I feel like the timing was around then. But it seems odd that even the manual request doesn’t work either. I’d really love to have it all fixed. Heck, I’d even happily doing it manually if needed. But now it seems even weirder that half the items (older items) are grouped, but you can’t see all the color options (of the new items).

Is it normal to not get any response from Zazzle on stuff like this? Seems easy enough for them to put a note in the news feed at least so we have some guidance.

I think you could be right! Around then, I also noticed the color variations (“color dots”) were missing in marketplace search results and some product pages — this was affecting new products that were grouped in my store backend. I reported this issue on May 25th, but the ‘automatic color naming’ issue was reported earlier on May 16th. So it all could be related. I hope it’s fixed soon!

I agree. We are getting so many new features but the old ones are still not working properly. Grouping is very important for us.

Commenting again to bring this back to the top. My designs from back in June still have yet to be updated, recent additions to my shop, also are not grouped together. I wish we could just do this ourselves. It would be much easier that way!

BTW is switching only foil colors like Gold to Silver, acceptable group colors too?
Is the color grouping still working for everyone? Products I’ve published since the beginning of August haven’t grouped yet, though it might just be a delay. Also, the color variations (“color dots”) aren’t showing up in marketplace search for new products published since early February.
