Has something changed with the Promoter Program 2.0? I was getting regular referrals until the middle of February, when they suddenly completely shut off altogether, and I haven’t gotten anything at all since then. I only promote on Pinterest, and I don’t have a lot of followers there, but that hasn’t seemed to make a difference until the last few weeks. Has something changed with Pinterest, perhaps? That shouldn’t affect anything, since 2.0 only works with regular links and no referral code. But I just can’t figure out why everything just totally shut off. I’m still getting regular SALES, just no referrals.

I’m not in the promoter program, but my referrals too have stopped around mid-February.

I’ve had 46 self-referrals since 15th Feb, so no issues here?

I just lost a decent self referral to a 3rd party in a matter of 3 hours.. I thought our cookies were supposed to stop that sort of thing.. this is a $155.00+ loss for me.. not happy

looks like the customer canceled and changed the quantity ordered, if you report to pro team, hopefully they can remedy it for you.

I was told in the beginning of this that cookies lasted a week it shouldn’t matter if the customer changes anything.. I wouldn’t think.. this is a rough loss - normally I would let it go, but this one is too much $$ to just let go.
I am not in the promoter program, but use Nifty Tools. Last year at this time I was getting dozens of referrals a day. I get maybe get one or two a week now. Pretty sure Pinterest has devalued my account or whatever. I haven’t built my Zazzle revenue plan around affiliate marketing, so all is good.

Just chiming in to say that I’m in the Promoter Program, and it seems to be working fine. I actually noticed this past week an increase in referrals even though I wasn’t doing anything different. Selling stuff on the internet can be such a random and mysterious thing sometimes.

I am in the Promoter Program 2.0 and it is working fine for me. I have been busy with projects outside of Zazzle lately and not pinning as much as I normally would, yet the self referrals are still happening with normal regularity.

They may have reordered via a different device? I don’t know if that makes any difference. Either way I hope they resolve it.
The idea of getting a self referral is that the customer came to zazzle for your product - You brought them to zazzle.. it shouldn’t matter if they change anything in the order or use a different device - esp since clearly this person reordered within 3 hours.. the account should hold the cookie - I see this happening often.. but usually I’m only losing a few dollars.. but this one stings.. I would Really like zazzle to honor this self referral .. and for anyone else this happens to

I didn’t purposely set my income goals to depend on referral income, but my income has dropped over the last few weeks, and if I was still getting referrals that would fill in the gap.

I can’t comment, I really don’t understand the technicals at all. Meanwhile, on a side note, I recently had around $50 of royalty and self referral canceled because content team ‘wrongfully’ canceled the items after it was sold. the customer missed out and so did I. The item has since been reinstated but I am still without the fees and presumably, the customer went else where.

Connie, same thing is happening with me. It’s pretty frustrating to see a list of third party sales and NO promoter referral royalty. No one in support has an answer for me. Also beware…I recently found out that if you are using the email “share” button the additional 35% referral no longer applies.

My referrals have declined significantly recently. I am not in PP but I am getting less than 50% of what I was getting this time last year. I am barely able to reach VB level 1 where I was making levels 2 and 3 regularly last year.

I had been getting several a month but nothing this month. Nothing from my affiliate posts of other people’s products either. A bit frustrating.

My promoter referral sales recently picked up a little. I’m unable to track source of links as products were not posted on Pinterest which is currently the only place I have products listed. Does anyone know how to track promoter 2.0 links?

I’m in the PP as well and I’ve seen unexplained irregularities in my referrals too (currently trying to sort out with Support). Around that time (maybe Feb ?) my stores received 9 referrals, but no details were given about the transactions nor did I receive any monies (I just see Total Referrals number go up). Can you even get a referral and not make any money on it?? Since then I have not seen one referral at all - zero. Support is telling me all is well with my account but I’m pushing for further investigations. In the meantime I’ve been getting a trickle of regular third-party and direct sales. I too only post on Pinterest and have a small following (and what is up with Pinterest? I have almost no activity at all despite posting something most days and pinning others’ pins.) Is this all the result of what’s going on the USA and global conditions?
I had two nice cancelled referrals in July. Since then I’ve had no referrals as I am in the program. It worked well for awhile. What is going on Zazzle
