Regional SEO

Hello,

I would like to know if there is anything to do to position our products on regional Zazzle because when I take a product that is well positioned on Zazzle.com and I type the same keywords (in French or in English) on Zazzle.fr the product does not come out at all. Is it a matter of time before the products spread to the regional sites or are there actions to be taken to be present on them?

Thank you

@VTJCV  I noticed that if one of my products is well placed on the .com it may not be well placed on .uk domain. It depends on the sales from each domain. There is nothing you can do to alter the position on the .fr domain (apart from it selling from the .fr domain and moving up in popularity) Also some products are not available on the international domains so you have to take that into consideration when doing a search.

I’ve also found that if I update a products keywords/descriptions on .com - I have to then log in to the .uk to make sure it’s been updated then there’s the indexing time lag issue that’s happening over all domains it seems.

Patience is key when you are a Zazzler :slightly_smiling_face:

@Sara_H   Thanks for your answer :slightly_smiling_face:

How long does it take approximately for the products we publish to get their ranking ?
Is there a turn over to allow new products to have a chance to be seen?

@VTJCV  I have no solid answers for either of your questions - Sorry.

More sales = popularity = better marketplace placement but have no idea on time frame or turnover for new products. You have to promote yourself. Don’t rely on being found in the marketplace anymore.

Good luck!

@Sara_H   Thank you :slightly_smiling_face:

That mean if we don’t have our social networks with many people we can stop Zazzle ?

We made some sales till now, not many, i think because there’s almost no view in our articles. We are motivated to create but if we need to bring traffic in addition to creating items that will be a problem for us.

Thank you,

@VTJCV  Am not sure I understand ‘stop Zazzle’?

We are all motivated to create but we also have to  promote too - pinning on Pinterest/Facebook/Twitter - any social media is good to share those products to. It’s a lot of work but worth it in the end.

@Sara_H   Ok thank you. For now we have a Facebook page, so we’ll create a Pinterest and Twitter to try to make promotion but we start from zero with social networks

@VTJCV  Don’t forget Instagram too. We all start from zero - but you’ll soon gain followers. Keep at it.

Thank you :slightly_smiling_face:
