I have just created these 2 foam boards, both 18ββ x 24β'. Yet one appears to cost 50.44 $, the other 38.80 $.
Why is that? π

Sometimes thereβs a front and a back to a product and if you design on both sides its X amount but if you only design on one side its less money. Not sure if foam boards are like that, iβve never messed with them.
(sigh) the foam board with the higher price had a white background on the back side. Instead, the other one had the back side transparent (blank). So the difference comes from there. Letting the first one white on the back is being counted as modified. π
That is ridiculous. Zazzle will flag-up if a side of an item is left empty. A folded greetings card will have 4 sides for example. I often βcolourβ the inside cover "whiteβ to get round this alert, even though itβs technically still blank.
Regarding the foam board, leaving the back side blank and not adding white meant i did not customize it whatsoever and no extra fee was applied to it.. Perhaps they have different settings / options depending on the type of product, just a guess.
Are you sure you entered the same royalty rate? If royalty rate is different, total price change too.
Yes, I learned this the hard way. I had to fix most of my foam boards to delete the white background on the back.
They all have the same royalty rate.
