Sizing Textile Design Repeats

I create textile designs for SpoonFlower. I, then, add coordinating products in Zazzle. Due to illness, I haven’t been on Zazzle or SpoonFlower much. So I’m now trying to learn how to make sure the pattern is correctly sized for the product using the new tool – i.e. baby blanket. Before I was able to adjust the tile in the design tool and see the size. But there are no measurements available in the new design tool. Most of my textile repeats are 12 inch square (for duvets or wallpaper). When I design in Zazzle I need to reduce the size to fit bibs and blankets which I would like to size the same. When I upload the tile to the baby blanket the systems enlarges the tile to 28 inches. So it has already more than doubled the size I was working with. On the bib, the tile stays the 12 inch size which, of course, is still too large for the bib.

I asked Zazzle about the problem and suggested adding a measurement to the overlay grid. All I got was “thanks” for the feedback. No suggestion as to how to resolve the issue.

Anyone else having this problem?

Thanks

Nancy

@Nancy7 you can set the size of your tile (in inches) in the Design Tool - go to effects and choose which tiling effect you want (half brick/half drop or whatever) then in the Tile Size Box - you can enter width/height to your exact sizing preferences.

edit to add -

for the tablecloth - there is a size overlaid (which is really helpful) so perhaps they’ll roll this out to all the products.

edit again

the size of the product is on the bibs too (excellent news)

I don’t have a size box!

@Nancy7 select the basic tiling option
