If you’re talking about the stationery paper that is 5.5" x 8.5", your design should have this ratio: 5.5625 x 8.5625. So a design that is 2000px by 3079px, as an example, would have the right size ratio to conform to the instructions in this note from the description:
Designer Tip: To ensure the highest quality print, please note that this product’s customizable design area measures 5.5" x 8.5". For best results please add 1/16" bleed.
Does the 2000px by 3079px cover the bleed area. Thank you.
Yes it does. Here’s how you could calculate it yourself:
The width of the paper is 5.5 inches and the bleed area is 1/16 inch. One sixteenth is the same as .0625 in decimals so just add 5.5 and .0625 to figure out the total width including bleed. Do the same with the height of the paper 8.5 inches plus .0625 = 8.5625. So any design size you choose that has the ratio of 5.5625 by 8.5625 will fit. If you’re not sure how to use a ratio, it just means that you can find a size that will fit by multiplying both the width and height by the same number. For example, if you multiply the width 5.5625 by 500 and also multiply the height of 8.5625 by the same number (500) you get 2781 x 4281, so an image that is 2781px x 4281px will also fit your paper.
