(Taking Scott’s advice to post my opinions in proper channels)
My Store Level Collection Management Wish List
Grid View for drag and drop reordering
Reorder Collections burger menu - drop down added to reorder by name (can only View by name)
Reorder Collections by Occasions/Type
View By Occasions/Type
Number of products within collection (add extra column)
Ability to create a new collection from store back end (select products/actions drop down/add to collection/ create new)
When deleting a collection from store level - it takes you back to Member level collections - would like to stay at store level collections management
Easier way to find products not in collection in store back end (appreciate the store front visual burger menu turning blue when item in collection)
‘Back to collections’ remembers where in the store level collection list you were with all settings as before (ie. if viewed by name - it stays that way and not view by manual again) using workaround by right clicking opening collection in new browser so don’t lose my place
Ability to view collection’s tags as text (lazy girl copy/paste mode on)
For #9, I’d just open the collections in their own browser tab for now. I did pass along this info to the team, but I don’t know what our options are here.
For #10, can you elaborate a bit more? What are you suggesting, and how does this benefit Creators?
Thanks Scott - with #10 - I was trying to explain that I’d like the tags to be copy/paste-able similar to the copy paste function for tags when you edit product details
For the suggested items, how about an option to automatically start creating those additional products straight from the collections backend using artwork on the other items in the collection. (In the style of transfer this design).
@SwissVillage ooh yes! It could be added to the three dotted pop out on the product to replace View Product Insights then open a window to transfer design to a slot that’s incomplete
I would love if Zazzle added the ability for collections to be public within a store only , but not show up on my member profile. I have some niche stores and would like to make more collections within those stores, but don’t want so much clutter on my public profile where I only want to highlight certain stores/collections/products.
Definitely!! 9. ‘Back to collections’ remembers where in the store level collection list you were with all settings as before (ie. if viewed by name - it stays that way and not view by manual again) using workaround by right clicking opening collection in new browser so don’t lose my place
Hi — was my point about our names appearing rather than the store name appearing when a customer views the collection, passed on also?. I think that is going to be a real concern an ineffective branding/marketing vehicle. The magic follow-on message asked if i had a solution yet and I clearly don’t think we’ve really addressed this. Do you need to see again what I am referencing?
